FCA is recalling over one-and-a-quarter million Ram pickups across the world, because a software errorcould prevent the side airbag and seat belt pretensioner from working during a rollover.
Thesoftware error could come up if the Ram was rolled by amajor underbody impact. The recall involves simple reprogramming, and covers the2013-16 Ram 1500 and 2500 pickups and the 2014-2016 Ram 3500 pickups.
