Actually my brother in law has a Gremlin X at his house that he's "gonna restore one day" (he's not really that kind of guy), but keeps getting put on the back burner for other projects.
If I could get it running and cleaned up, I'd take it off his hands if he'd let me.
 
I had an original Gremlin Grinder. I "polished" the roof on the concrete basketball court behind our garage, then proceeded to blow the thing up with firecrackers. :dance:
 
I'm pretty sure it was '67 or '68. The first one I think they put out was a '67 Camaro. I could be wrong but that's the earliest I've seen. Had hood that opened too, I had one :)
 
somewhere i could probably find my entire gold chrome set as well as my original goldenrod with big engine set like that gremmy...90% sure ive got that gremmy STILL!!!
