Maybe a new, to me, truck.

If you can really call it a truck :D

It's an '84 or 5 GMC short wheelbase, 2wd, with a bad motor, for the princely sum of finishing a motor install on an '84 Camaro. I'll find out more details in the next couple days.

My son is almost 14 and this would be a decent first vehicle for him. I also have a 360 Magnum that needs freshening up and a 727 lying around looking for a home. Better than wasting time installing at least the third 350 in this trucks life :D and eliminating the need for a 4th.

poor kid...

its got a 360 in it
no you idiot gmc never made a 360 its a 350
no its a 360
stop bullshitting its a 350 you moron

Do you really think I'm going to waste time in putting another 350 in this truck?

It was a POS motor when it was designed, they got OK power out of it during the musclecar era, though durability was in short supply and in the smog error they showed how much of a POS it really is. Nah, I have a decent power train just lying around looking for a home, to hell with the chevy purists.

Putting a 350 or any other blowtie motor back in that truck is the equivalent of deep sixing my Cummins for a duratrash!
:D

no im totaly with you for putting the 60 in there...i just forsee the "problems" of future owners lol

:D

My son has a great career opportunity as a lawyer. That boy argues about everything, he finally backs off when he sees me get irritated, to avoid getting smacked in the head. :D Luckily he has gotten to the point when he knows he's on the verge, and he backs off on his own.
