sure looks alot like the bell on my 354 hemi auto trans
would that be the same as a small block 318 ? or is this a POLYBLOCK bell housing ? i cant find info on it anywhere .

also this 354 HEMI you speak of would it perhaps be for sale ? :giggedy: my buddy thats building a 36 PLYMOUTH STREETROD is looking for an old HEMI 331 354 392 :giggedy:

thanks RANDY

392, 354 and later, non-extended block 331's used the same bolt pattern as the poly 318's.

thanks 68 R/T do you have an idea what it is for or if it would work on a car ? or is this strictly marine ?

thanks RANDY :bravo:

You could use it on a car......if you can find a trans to fit. They only came with 3 spds or auto, and those 3 spds were different than the later 3 spds. :(

The trans mounting pad is not tall enough to fit a pass car trans...the top bolts of the trans will not be supported by anything...

if nothing else it would make a killer shop wall ornimantation.....as for my hemi....well i want to put it in something...it came out of a 40k orignal mile yorker..and hasnt been fired since sometime in the 60's....not missing a thing from the belts all the way to the drum brake on the trans...cept i busted the drivers exhaust mani when it snaped a chain and crushed a cherrypicker...we never did find the caster it shot off into space
