Being an Infidel and
Mamaw Gail's peach cobbler
Ingredients:
4 (14.8 0z) cans sliced peaches in heavy syrup
2tsp ground cinnamon (or to taste)
1/2 cup sugar (or to taste)
1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups milk
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400*F
In a 10x14 pan, add slice peaches, sprinkled with cinnamon and 1/2 cup sugar, then stir.
In a bowl, mix flour, sugar and milk until smooth.
Pour batter over peaches - DO NOT STIR.
Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown.
Serve warm (best with vanilla ice cream)
