Just when the weather starts to get real nice I decide to fall off of the hoist at work. Nothing is broken but I am on crutches. I have a severe ankle sprain. It looks like their is a baseball on the outside of my ankle.
That sucks dude! I tore most of the ligaments and stuff on the outside of my right ankle when I was about 20. I jumped off of the tire rack at Pep Boys and landed on it sideways, I was in a cast for 6weeks... still hurts when I'm walking long distances and weather changes.
I sprained mine some twenty odd years ago, badly. I had bruising almost up to my knee.
Re-injured it three times since, the Doc says it'll always be weaker.
Stay on the couch and keep it elevated. Beer helps.
Thanks guys. I'll live. Now you all need to start kicking up your post counts so I have somthing to do for the next few days. Thank god for laptops and wireless internet!
Put a cast on it and get back to work you slacker!
When I sprained mine badly almost two decades ago they put a cast on it. I was working at the junkyard at that time and couldn't afford to miss much work, I did as much as I could but it was a real bitch.
Luckily I've had zero issues since, take good care of it ya big lug.
Man that sucks Stretchy man...guess your not as stretchy and flexible as your name suggests...:shifty:
I snapped my right ankle in two over 20 years ago..surgery, and metal pins to fix things....it's always weaker then the other but you learn to deal with it. Hope your recovery goes well.
last time my ankle looked like that id run myself over with the quad at speed..after bouncing wrong over a stump..before that id hit it with a 15lb splitting maul straightenoing a ford bumper
Yah but you came alot closer to a "hole in one" than I ever have! That was some funny shit! I have never seen any one come so close to a hole in one by topping the ball on the tee and having it stop about a foot from the pin when it shouldn't have gone more than a foot and a half from the tee. LOL
