Hiding In The Bushes While
I call it a New Porker!:giggedy::D

1978 New Yorker with a '74 Newport header and bumper.

I guess the 5MPH bumper shocks are shorter on the NY'er then they are on the Newport so the bumper is almost flush with the header panel and boy does it look sweet!:banana:

In case I ever hit somthing over 5MPH I welded the sleeves of the bumper shocks together so the bumper doesn't move.[smilie=i:

The reason I did this is I've always thought of the '77-'78 NY'er front end to be fugly and the header was broken and the headlight doors didn't work and well I just wanted something different. :shifty:

Whatcha think?:)

the old face has that 74 lincoln look...wich i hate....the new look has a 60s lincol look with the flush bumper and all...looks great

That does look a lot better! :2thumbs:

And boy, that '74 Newport center grille is HEAVY, we hung ours on the garage wall and the sucker weighs a ton!

Looks good.........:clap:

Too bad the rest of the car looks like sheet. [smilie=g: [/SIZE]
