I had the oppertunity to score myself a 1965 Chrysler 300 "Parade car". Would make a nice 'sister'-car for my '65 300 convertible...
But, a "Parade car" ... WTF ???
Yep, somewere down the line someone has hacked off the roof and made it into a Sunny-weather only car... 8)
The color is red-metallic with a white interior.
The interior is painted with Vinyl-paint, and the exterior paint should be dark red.
I got another roof of a 300 with the car, but I'm not sure yet what to do with the car.
It has Power Windows and Power Seats, both nice options which I will be transfering to my own '65 300 convertible soon.
The car is an original Swiss-import, and therefore has a KM/hr Speedo.
One thing I almost forgot to mention is the car has had a changeover to DiscBrakes once aswell.... Butt... It carries Chevy-boltcircle rotors now... WTF...
And to make matters worse, some complete moron has managed to fit a 4.5" Mopar Rim ON the 4.75" bolt-circle !!
I haven't had the time to check it out further, but I noticed one thing though, all the wheelstuds are pointing to the center of the wheel because of this.
Here are some pics....
