Looks like room for you, a wife, and at least one full line of forwards, defence and a goalie! edit:Just noticed the treasure trove of 8 tracks any good ones?

Boston, The Beatles, Steely Dan, Alice Cooper, Kiss and Some cool mix tapes in there too and that was just at a glance.

Yeah any 8 track that doesn't snap when the track switches is a good 8 track.

So. Pimpmobile?

Do you hafta go to Walmart to turn it around?? :hmmm:

:bwuhaha:

NIIIIIICCCCCE!!!!............:giggedy:

That's a pretty cool score. What is the tech sheet on that one like? Those 8-tracks and that fancy flowered blanket/bed cover, must have sinched the deal....:D

It also came with a wicked sweet 6" tall Freddy Kruger bobblehead! :giggedy: :D

It's a 360 2bbl with a 904 and 8.25.

The center door is 3' long so I figure the stretch is just a little over that, the car is more then 20' thought because it overhung on a 20' car trailer. :D

The trans that's in it right now works very weak when it's cold and stops working all together when it starts warming up, so I was told.

I'm gonna drop the pan and see if maybe it's just a band out of adjustment, the fluid is pretty decent looking but does smell burnt.

He had picked up a used replacement transmission from a local trans shop for it, the shop told him that a 727 was the tranny for that car so that's whats in the trunk. :D

The car sports a pretty sweet two piece drive shaft to boot.

I bought the car not running so hopefully it does in the next week or so when I get around to tinkering with it. :helpme:

It's only been sitting for about 3 years after the tranny quit on him on his way back through the mountains from BC so it should still run. :shifty:

It's a small block 904 - came off the 318 in the Demon - you would need a converter for the 360 - or get weights welded on the one it comes with. .

Actual 38,000 original miles. It's here if you need it - stoopid cheap for my good friends. I can deliver it with this other one next time I'm through.

Nope - ordered a B&M 727.

PM Me with a price, I'll take it. Odds are there is nothing wrong with the torque converter in the car now.

Just saw another really nice looking '79 New Yorker sedan on Kijiji in Alberta for $600, Damn I hate not having money. :doubt:

when you get around to it..start it up and let the trans warm up in N for a good 5-10 mins and see how it works...more often than not thats made a trans last damn neer forever...atleast for me

as for a 727..dont they still make a pre weighted flex plate to bolt onto a unbalanced converter?

you may try looking for "tourer" or "touring coach" instead of limo...as sight seeing tour rigs are useualy the multie door units where limo's tend to only have 4

I'll have to tinker around and get the car running probably Sunday after the races.

The car came with 4 sets of keys. :wtf:
