I have some license plates littering up the place... don't want 'em.
Will send large jpg file of plates that interest you if you provide me with an e-mail address (might want to do that in a PM).
- > Michigan 1938, F25134. Pale green with black numerals. Straight, some fading to black paint. No gloss. COuple of minor rust spots, but actually quite good condition for a67-year-old plate. $15.
> Michigan 1959, ZA-9663. Forest green with yellow numerals/border. Bent lengthwise below numerals, some rust below there. Paint devoid of gloss but otherwise OK for being almost 50 years old. $5.
> Michigan 1965, matched pair UK-4538. Dark blue with yellow numerals/border (U of M colors). Some discoloration to blue on lower left of both plates, otherwise quite nice. Some dinging but nothing serious. $20/pr.
> Michigan 1968, EZ-1938. Forest green with yellow numerals/border. Some chipping of yellow paint, otherwise straight other than stamping defects. No rust. $8.50.
> Virginia 1968, 854-959. White numerals on black field. Minor chipping around lower screw holes, very light rust along top edge. $6.50.
> Michigan 1971, BFJ-402. Brick red, white numerals/border. 1972 renewal decal. One minor kink by upper left mounting hole, no rust. Some minor wear/chipping on white paint. $8.50
> Michigan 1972, dealer plate. 261D54. Blue field with reflective yellow numerals/border. The Holy Grail of Michigan plates... see, there was no 1972 MI plate for the general public... just dealers got plates stamped "1972" (everyone else got a renewal decal). Nearly impossible to find one of these. Straight except stamping deformities, and it looks like it was installed by Ahnald at one point. Minor scratching around screw holes, very-minor chipping to the yellow paint. Very likely you'll never get another shot at one of these; $50.
