Leaf spring rip off????

K, I just got mine for fredrick dodge, not sure if I paid too much, but a lot less that I could have mine redone, or get new at a shop around here, in total it was like 266 of which 71 was shipping, at the same time charger man was going to order too, his charger springs were about the same & shipping to the same zip was 65, (lives 1 block from me!):doubt:
He in turn talks to some one & gets a line that there cheaper springs & won't last as long, decides he'd rather have the better ones & orders from Jacks in NJ, paid almost twice the price, like 169 each, well I was over there tonight, & he's got the identical markings on his(well cept the part #'s ) as the ones I got, so shop around guys, seems there all coming from the same place & I don't know if the metal in his is any better than the metal in mine:shifty: Rich.

I don't know that it's a rip off or not. I know when I worked at the HVAC supply shop, thermostats, furnaces, etc. all came from the same place but different distributors sold them for different prices. Just gotta shop around if you want the best price or pay a little more if your normal/favourite supplier has them.

I agree with that, year one & others priced around the same as Jacks, the point being that they fed him a line about a "better" product when there selling the same stuff, I don't mind paying more for a better product or even sometimes more for the same product if it's convienient & better service, what i object too is lying to a customer ! Rich.
