Last weekend

I'm a prom night dumpster baby
The annual mopar show was last weekend. The biggest chryco show all year in this part of the corn fields and boy was attendance down. I wonder if the 3.80's a gallon for gas had anything to do with it? A few gems among the dust and tumble weeds though. Said hey to the gio-nator and lurking member dartracer.
A nice pair of '68 four gear b bods, sweet little swinger and a tasty superbird.

My bro spent the day running my magnum down the track. Managed to get a 15.4 out of it, which isn't to shabby considering the track is at 5800 feet elevation. Quicker than a lot of the shiney cuda and charger 'street' cars there. :burnout: Made it through enough rounds to get a trophy. YAY! Shouldn't we be getting some kind sponsorship money?
And a good time was had by all. Nighty night sweetheart. Go to sleep now.

The white bird is one man's interpretation. Takes some getting used to as it's a mix of parts but the guy did some nice work on it. It has a '70 bee scoop on it, not the dual scoop, the other kind. Can't seem to be able to find a good shot of it though.

Good for him! It's amazing how slow some of those old mopar 'street' cars really are. I've seen many a disappointed owner after their first time down the strip. :D

Amazing how many think their stock 383s or 440s with 3.23s are low, low, low 13 second cars.

"Yeah, I started with the 375 horse 440, added headers - good for 30 more horses, the cam adds another 20 to 30 horsepower, and the aftermarket carb and intake tack on another 40 or so. So I've got around 450 to 470 horsepower in my engine"

I looooove the new math. :)

The red SuperBird looks vaguely familiar. The guy who bought mine from my brother and me in 1980 took off the vinyl top, converted it to manual trans, and drove it at Bonneville. Car went something like 198 mph, not bad for stock bodied 'Bird with a minor built 440. The owner lives in Colorado someplace. Maybe it's just the color, lack of vinyl top and wheel discs, but it sure looks similar.

The convertable "SuperBird" has 68-69 quarter panels. the door lock button looks to be in the '68 position, but the seats look like they have headrests. A true Morphadite!

Heres a few more of the red bird, it very well may be your old car learical. V code.

That math sounds like the Ricer math I'd hear when they brought their cars in for fart cannons, can't (and don't want to) remember how many 200-250 horse Civics, Accords, Eclipses (non-turbo) I heard about...:doubt:

Good to see you and your brother again A-12!, Oh and the sweet innocent neice??, Quotes family guy snippets like a sailor:bwuhaha:

no, my red 'Bird wasn't a V code. But the snapshop in the first picture sure looks like the same photo the owner sent me. (he did own another tor-Red 'bird.)

ya i like the new math to especially when i have a torch and welder.---- any body want to testify to that?:bwuhaha:
