Wow, that's pretty presumptuous-he basically claimed to know God's reasons for stuff happening. I'd assume that didn't crimp the flow of donations...
As many of you have probably gathered, I don't see as essential the existence of people on tv telling me why God caused this or that and blaming groups of people they don't like for events obviously unrelated to those people. If you can make some logical connection between the event and the people then fine, feel free to do so. If you're gonna tell me that a volcano erupted because some gay guy got his watertight integrity violated by some other gay guy, I'm gonna laugh at you because you're an idiot. More disturbing is the fact that apparently many people actually buy into this stuff. Vote liberal, conservative, or however you want. Let's just leave the 3rd grade magic out of the equation.
