But I waited far too long to replace the lower control arm bushings on my truck. They were the last piece, minus shocks, on the front end, nothing else had this much wear.

reminds me of my 67 fastback....wore the front end out soo hard i blew the LCA mounts right out of the k member...wondered why it wouldnt hold a ride height anymore
 
That must have been noisy, and wander a bit?

Actually it ran straight down the road, just a horrible squeak out of the front end when bouncing. No abnormal tire wear on the left side, oddly, but the right side with bushings intact would chew up a tire pretty badly. I'm waiting on the new right lower control arm, then I'll take it down and get it aligned. Bushings aren't as bad on the right side, just weathered and normal wear, but it's cheaper and easier to swap the whole arm than just the bushings.
