Matt

is this like the first cd ? because the 2nd cd wasnt that great as far as im concerned .

Was staring at that in the music store about 2 hours ago... wondering if it was any good.

I had heard a song on the radio last week - I assume was newer - it was pretty good.

Well in my excitement to go out and purchase this cd I went to Best buy.. closed, all the employees walking on the front.. damn I say to myself. Circuit City.. shit closed 12 minutes ago. Wal-Mart, haha yeah right, they've never heard of Audioslave.
Now I sit here until 10 tomorrow to go buy it.. that's if I don't have to work.. then it will be 1-2 pm.. fuuuuu...

Everything says it's not due out until tomorrow - Sep 5.

I was in an HMV - they must have pre-loaded a rack with empty cases or something. They had two racks full under the New Releases sign and looking at the picture of the cover online, it wasn't what they had in the racks.

Sorry to cornfuse things, but at least you didn't miss the release. :shifty:

Fuck Walmart. I haven't heard it or seen the cover to know if there's any explicit lyrics but Walmart either won't sell anything that has them or they'll be editted.

Actually, Wal-Mart sells them both ways now after numerous complaints... it will say "edited" or "explicit" on that irritating, impossible-to-remove decal across the edge of the CD case. Of course, I haven't bought a CD at Wally World since hearing my friend's WM-edited copy of Anthrax's Attack of the Killer Bs. You've never heard so much editing, and "Startin' Up a Posse" wasn't even on the CD.

However, I stick by the "fuck Wal-Mart" statement anyhow. :D

I bought Wolfmother from a Wal-Mart-like chain called ShopKo, and it has a black piece of paper over the cover, which depicts some sort of nekkid goddess of the sea. It just slips out of the case, though--no actual editing, and all the songs are as-recorded.
