According to two sources,Jeep is planning a three-row Cherokee, dubbed K8, for Asian production and sale. As its launch nears, we’ve been told that it will not just have four cylinders, three rows, and four driven wheels, but two batteries — with an adaptation of the Chrysler Pacifica plug-in hybrid system.
This unconfirmed report has the launch sometime in 2017, as a 2018 model, so it’s likely not due until near the end of the year.
