It's gotta go! Selling the Road Runner.

It's been ten years and I think it's time someone else took care of the Road Runner. It's all original or correct so to be honest, I'm tired of having to be so careful all the time. This "winter" was one of the hottest and wettest I can remember and I barely got to take her out.

To have a great car sitting in the garage all the time only taken out for dusting and "round the block" twice a month is not my idea of a good time.

Usually I would spend the winter months driving it almost every day, top down and enjoying the Miami winter weather, going to shows, road trips to the Keys, etc. But last two years the only fun has been finding little parts to make it perfect etc.

I'm not a big fan of the auctions and all the big ones are too far away from me so I don't think that's an option. HAve any of you ever sold a car on Hemmings?

I never have, but selling is selling. You have a price in mind, an absolute bottom dollar, and you don't have to take less regardless of where you list the car. You might do just fine in a car corral, Hemmings, wherever. You can say you want thousands more, and let buyers haggle you... and you also might just get your (higher) asking price. I think Hemmings would be a great place to start, though, and the more documentation you have (body numbers, etc.) the more you can stick to your guns on that number in your head.

Yeah I'm pretty set on the price. I ain't "leaving meat on the bone" as I think that all those auction shows make every shithead with 10 bucks think he's a dealer. This isn't going to some dealer who could give a shit about the car. Dealers want to make money and will lowball in hopes that a desperate seller will just jump at the chance to keep smoking crack for another week.

I got a bible that includes build sheet, original owners stuff, about 100 pics of the resto, that crazy expensive am/fm thumbwheel radio and every single piece of paper it came with originally and generated in the last 10 years I owned it as well as two gold placement plaques from the Mopar Nationals here in South FLorida (mini nats, but big show nonetheless) and you guys know I've always been a fanatic about correct/original. I haven't taken a part off that car that hasn't been bagged and tagged regardless of condition.
