It Lives

Got the 78 fired up today, Carb came from another guy and it floods. Took about 10 minutes for the lifters to shut up but it hits on all 8 and has a slight lope. Need to find out if its limited slip or not next. 60 front and 70 rear, the front driveshaft is about to fall off. Used an AVS type intake with an adapter plate to mate a T-quad. 700 I think. Center dump truck exhaust with whatever Ma put in for a cam. 12 of 76 build date and never been torn down except for the addition of the 383 intake. The rear tires are nothing special and will die a horrible death. [smilie=e:

Pics please, especially when this is accomplished...

Got a guy coming over this weekend with a video cam. Still need to hook up the clutch linkage and replace the throttle cable and deal with the carb. If I can afford plates it should happen. [smilie=bunny.gif]

You don't need plates to pull off a smokeshow in your own driveway do you? [smilie=e: [smilie=d:

Great minds think alike. Theres a patch of concrete by the house that needs warmed up. I pulled the carb down today and found silicone everywhere. Its not right yet but better. If the rear U-joints look like the front I will need Mo parts. The heater core and the power steering are puking too-fun fun. [smilie=e: [smilie=e:
