I'm working on that actually.
And there's a means to have certain posts get automagically posted to the moparnuts facebook account - so you'd see the updates in your news feed or live feed, or livestock feed, or dor webbed feed. (<-- say like you have a stuffy nose)
There never was a one-click way: you either scroll to the top and click Forums
or Click the 'Top" button on the far right near the bottom of the page and then click Forums
or click the back button in your browse
or if you have a funky mouse with extra buttons one of those can be programmed as a back button.
As for getting to the last post of a thread - if you are looking at the New Posts page that is linked under the Forums menu
like here:
Then there is a little button - just like the one we used to have in the old format as shown here
If you're clicking the link in the new post block on the far right of the forum home page then you're going right to the post you're clicking on - so what else do ya want?
No. You could click on the "mopar or no car" in the quick jump box if you were already in the "Mopar or no car" fourm and it would take you to mopar or no car header page with all of the post.
Yah. there was a "Go" button next to it. That would take you back to the main page and you pick the next thread in that fourm you wanted to read rather than only having the "Previous Thread" and "next thread" as your only options. I guess I just need to change the way I do things. I do mis the "read first unread post" button at the top of each thread. I realy don't need to reread each post in a thread to find the one I havent read in each tread.
I know stuff is different, but most of it is all still there.
To be honest, I don't know where some of the stuff is until someone asks and I go looking... it's usually not far off from the old way - but just enough.
The developers says this is all better for us. *swigs Kool-Aid*
I dub this new forum HHR. Much like the Chevrolet product of the same name, it's Horribly Hard on the Retinas. It's not the navigation that bothers me, it's the awful skins. After half an hour, I can't take it anymore. It gives me a headache no matter which skin I choose.
It's the only one that doesn't give me any issues (now that I have been a pain in DCF's side about it ) plus I like darker colors. Easier on the eyes for longer periods of time.
