if so then i maybe can help "a friend" with a good deal on a disk brake conversion for his car [smilie=a:

Thanks!

Early???....1970 was getting towards the end of the b-body production.

I would consider 62 - 64 early b-bods.

let's say it different, when i look at the rear axles they are the same from '62 till '70 .

i got a complete K-member from a '65 coronet with diskbrakes and everything laying arround and don't know if the spindels and the other stuff will fit the '70 coronet

if so i can make somebody happy [smilie=b:

Rear 8.75 axles were different 62-65, and 66-70, and 71-.

62-65 were narrower (not much) and had the old style tapered axle. 66-70 were wider than those, but don't have the tapered axle. 71- are wider still.

That doesn't help to answer your question though, does it? I doubt the 65 K-frame is the same, the bodies are way different. Jass would know for sure, I guess he's working. :D

spindles and uppers "should" fit but wouldnt that be the hayes 4 piston setup(or was that only on A's?)

all 62-70 spindles,uca/lca's interchange,,'66/'67B housings are narrower(54 1/4")flge.-flge. than '68-70,and are only a tad wider than A body dims, with the same perch distance, and alot of guy's bolt them right into dusters,.......'66/'67 axle is also the choice for early '62-65 B's,,,the disc brakes from '65 are junk,I don't like to recommend using the taller spindles from '75-81 B body's,because of all the arguments it causes, but we have been using them since the 80's on all the '62-70 B body's that we build, nobody put's a '65 back K frame in a '66 up B body,it's the other way around,we put '68/69 K's into early B's for the engine setback, and new style mounts, adaptable swaybar, oil pan clearance,etc.....
