Vanishing Point. The end scene where the car blows up when hitting the bulldozer.

Some people argue that its a camaro that blows up. Go back to your dvd and see what you think it is and post what your answer is. I looked at it a few times and what i make out is a challenger.:hmmm:

Still looks like a Camaro to me. I had a look at both the UK and US versions.

Look closely at the burning car during the aftermath shots and you can clearly see the mid-body line of a 67-68 Camaro at the rear wheel well.

Deffinately a Camaro. Been a while since I've seen the movie but I remember someone pointing it out to me and we paused at just the right spot.....trust us, it's a bow tie burnin. (suddenly Judas Priest's Freewheel Burnin' is stuck in my head:wtf: )

I voted Chally. I was going by the remake movie. I didn't think you guys where still rehashing the camaro in the 1st movie. [smilie=f:

MG, it worked. That's a cool photo that pretty much squashes any doubt. Another thing I just thought of is the hood that flies off of the car after the crash. It's a flat hood but there's no vent holes at the back of it like there would be on an E-body.

yes its a camaro in the original VP . in the remake they used a CHALLENGER .
