And today, Monday;

I've got them laid out with 4' of space on one end, 5' between the doors and 8' by the entry door. (to the right)

They plan on having everything finished in 2 weeks. That includes all of the cement work too.

The erection for the protection of your collection can't evade detection by anyone in the direction of your subsection. Will the heat be convection or in-floor indirection? When's electrical connection? A white interior will help with reflection. You'll have plenty of space for dissection. Is the projection that it'll be complete prior to the election?

OK then, no heat, solely for protection of the collection. And yes, white exterior for reflection, interior.....:hmmm:....lets say...raw. Conduit is already laid for electrical connection.

And seeing as election isn't until Nov. 4th it will be finished well before. :huh:

Man, I thought for sure you'd heat and insulate that baby. I know I'd want it that way, but then again I have no place to put such a Dodge-mahal. :( Zoning has me stuck with my 26' square, but I may erect a small storage shed for extra storage of parts as well as unimportant stuff like lawnmower, shovels, rakes etc.

interior wise....

if your willing to hunt...

see if you can get a biz going out of buisness wanting someone to take ALL of there cubicals for free....they insulate descently..are fire resistant and retardant...and as a bonus are a HUGE noise cancilation device...in other words the shop wont echo

did the 30x60 this way and its night n day differance..keeps the heat out till around 6 in the summer and in the winter you can actualy keep some heat in with the wood stove....but the sound deadning when your beating on metal or grinding is a gift from the tool gods

I was just a little hesitant to open this thread.....:shifty: Wasn't sure what road it was going to head down. :)

SHops looking sweet! And the sedan is looking great too!

That's very interesting info.....:hmmm:

I don't really want to be working on stuff in the same area as the toys. My plans are to use the existing 1-1/2 car garage for doing work, lots of insulation , etc.

That's a good sized erection! Jester didn't hesitate to open this thread, and was not disappointed!

Ya know, for erections lasting longer than four hours, you're supposed to consult a physician... You might want to put one on speed dial.

;)

I've been busier than a two peckered billy goat trying to get everything done before the snow flies. But I've finally got some updated pictures.

As seen from my office window;

As seen from my front yard;

Lastly, as seen from across the street;

As you can see the 'buildings' are done.....on the outside. I've been bustin' tail getting the doors on, and have one opener installed. A few more days and the cement will be cured enough to drive on. I still have 3 more openers and all of the lighting to do yet. :wall:
