Two brain cells left.. rubbing together for warmth
Howdy,
My name's Matt, and I'm afflicted with old cars. My first car was a '68 Satellite, my second was a '66 New Yorker. I've had thirty or forty since.. 85% have been Mopars, two Fords, A '63 Riviera, and a bunch of other junk, both foreign and domestic. I've currently got a '63 Valiant with a disc brake swap, big torsion bars, and full suspension rebuild, a '73 Fury II, that I got for free, is totally rusted, has a neighborhood watch sign for a floor board, a saddle blanket interior, and is the most reliable crap I own. I've got an '86 W150, with over half a million miles on it. I just swapped a mildly built 318 with a vintage thermoquad and NP435 into it, making it actually function as a truck. I also own a '73 Volvo 144, a '74 Volvo 145, and an '81 Volvo 245, all four speeds. They're really just Swedish Mopars. The truck I actually paid money for seven years ago, the Fury, and the 144 were free, the Valiant and the other two Volvos were $500 each.. I like beaters. I also used to work as a vintage Sportscar mechanic in Richmond VA, so if any of you guys have anything British, French, or Italian, I can help you with that particular masochism as well.
Yes, yes, pictures... I'll figure that out. Every forum wants pictures, and every forum makes it a ten minute process to put one picture up. Figure out that forum's procedure, find it, upload it, find out it's too big, find a way to resize it, upload it again, and somehow it gets uploaded upside down. I'm fairly tech savvy, but I'm also self taught. Nobody has yet explained a way for me to upload photos that doesn't make me want to shut my laptop and go drink a beer or actually go wrench on a car instead of fight with a picture of one.
