i, uhh..umm..

69.5CUDA

Blah Blah Blah
yeah...

well i couldnt pass up a deal....even if the price tag was for 450$....little did i know how much i could talk that price down....or the HUGE pile of parts that would come with it

attachment.php

ohh wait wrong pic LOL yeah thats me in the driver seat...my buddy has gotten into audi coupes...stole the red one for 700$ , low milage and well kept doesnt begin to describe it!!!!!..mild core support damage, totaled hood and mild pass fender damage...drives like NEW!!!!!

back to my "score"..150$:shifty:, 75 miles just to pick it up :doubt:, spare engine ALL the trim, ALL the glass, the hood ornement ive been SEARCHING FOR!!!!! :giggedy:[smilie=2:, last registered tags expired in 1964, 30k original miles, new rebuilt master cyl(the box looks like it was made in the 60's) as well as a new generator, factory sunroof car WITH all of the parts to re-assemble.....

other than the floor and bumperettes(if it even came with them which it looks like it didnt)and tail lights its not missing a thing........

heres the kicker...2 COMPLETE engines and one of the local guys (the one who organizes the local micro shows and has the lloyd i was snagging measurments from) already will buy 1 from me for........150$:shifty:

heres the 3 shots i took today loading her up..1957 lloyd "600" wagon...but i think one of the spare engines is a "alexander TS" engine due to a few things i spotted on the engine and a spare alexander emblem

ill get more shots tomaro when i do a car shuffle and actualy unload the van....the car looks rougher than it really is..its STRAIGHT!!!!! with 1 minor bend in the hood that will tweak right out

sooo whats the plan?...100% bone stock with the possible exception of swapping some of the "stock" pieces i didnt use from my 58 as well as likely some different seats..and some small tail lights to mount under the rear pan if i cant get my hands on stock ones

HOWEVER the LL hood ornement is going on my 58!!!!

Yeah, that first pic was weird for me because I was just looking at Craigs list yesterday and there was a pair of Audis for silly cheap locally.

Anyways, cool score and it's nearly paid for already :2thumbs:

well considering i have a "mostly" finished and complete "stock" chassis sitting in the corner of my shop on its side..it should be a fairly simple save

the cool looking aluminum v6 is the 3.0 for the 58 lloyd

Crispy in a few places, but amazingly solid in others. Damn you West Coast guys!
You should have yourself a nice set of bookends when done.

Spiderman been living in the back of that van?

book ends indeed!!!

yeah us west coast guys are spoiled...this lloyd when parked has been in a field rusting away since 1965ish....and lloyd floor metal is well.....CRAP..it makes f-bodys look like top end metal!

the car is amazing overall..and really bad in others...but my understanding is that the option list on it is RARE..as in "factory" hemi cuda rare and then some!

Awesome score!!! that would kick ass tubbed. Did I actually say that? :shifty:

I'm the pot, you're the kettle: "You're black."

You needed another project like I needed the Imperial. :D Good score, man... always fun to drag home another one!

yeah i dont have room..but hell its small!!!..i can park 2 of these where your imperial sits..and still have room to walk around them both!

some times a deal slaps you in the face and you have to jump!..otherwise you will kick yourself for life...i just so happend to have a lil cash here for a shop extension..and used it knowing FULL WELL that i will get ALL the money spent back PLUS likely another 100$ on top of that or more .....

so not only do i have a RARE lloyd i will make money off the parts i dont need

the local micro organizer is GREEN with envy and BEGGING for parts for the lloyd he has(no engine, no trans, no front brakes, siezed steering rack..all of which i have here waiting for him now )

as much as tubbing it "might" be fun....its been done before....besides....ive got my little badass lloyd....i need a stock one for the local mini and micro car shows.....time to start building a "hidden" hitch onto the lloyd/alfa badass..soo i can haul the stocker behind the fun one

Very Cool score.... :2thumbs:

A factory (?) sunroof in that Lloyd...Whood a thunk it...;)
