:beer: Well here I is, got this van before I realized it was a project. Oh well... Replaced; fuel pump, dist. etal, voltage reg., ballast resistor (missing inaction) unplugged rad.
You get the picture, now I'm trying to figure out why the distributor cap is giving me a light show when the key is turned to "ignition". Just going to try adding the missing ballast resistor to see if that changes anything. This all started with the ignition/battery feed fusible link frying out when trying to start the old gal. :bravo:

Ballast resistor is a must. If it's just missing, it won't run...period. If it's been by-passed, you'll cause damage to other ignition parts.:naughty:

buddy in college cruised in a ford with said spiderman bedsheets ... it was legendary ... mindya it was only 8 years ago lol
