Ok I'm thinking about spraying my car, But I have cast pistons.......Is this a bad idea? I wasn't going to go over a 100 shot tho. Any ideas?tips? I'm a complete noob when it comes to nitrous lol

It'll be fine as long as you don't put too much timing in it or run it really lean. My experience with pump gas engines shows that at the power level of nitrous you're talking about, you don't even have to retard the timing. Just run pump premium and you'll be alright. Cast pistons in good shape with no terrible tuning mistakes like I mentioned above should last approximately 60,000 years, or until the engine just wears out.

Cast? You should be OK.

Hypereutectic cast? Don't even think about it. Just go hit your picture window with a hammer instead.

Hypereutectic cast is ok with the rings gapped properly for nitrous. I've witnessed smallblock chevys taking a 175+ hit forever with no problems using those. The key is that the guy building the engine knew to gap the rings for nitrous.
