This person makes it look like a high-end graphics tool.

It's 24 1/2 minutes long, and that's with video sped up considerably. I can't imagine how long it took in real time.

That's what I find so amazing - that they can pull such nice work out of a piece of crap like MS Paint. I can't imagine what they'd be able to do with real art tools.
