I just got a new job today working for Sunoco :giggedy:. The Evil Empire 2 shoulda made me full time when they had the chance :bwuhaha:. I start next Friday, 7-7, 4 on 3 off until the refinery starts back up. When they're back into production I'll work 7:00-3:30 Mon-Fri. I don't know how much I'm gonna get paid an hour, it'll be more than I make now, or about the benefits. I'll get all the details in the beginning of the week. I'm just glad I don't have to deal with the friggin public anymore!!!!

:nanna: :nanna: :nanna:

And to the HD :finger:

So what will you be doing? Working at the refinery I assume? What did you do before? Evil Empire 2, I should know what that is from all the anti Wal-Mart threads but I'm forgetting at the moment.

To tell you the truth, I have absolutely NO IDEA what I'll be doing :bwuhaha: I will be working in the refinery, I do know that much, probably grunt work, but I'll be outside, without customers :giggedy:

Oh yeah the Evil Empire 2 = The Home Depot

congrats. Hmm refinery.... watch out for some of the hisses ... cause some are deadly. You learn fast what hiss is good and what hiss is bad. Be cautious on everything you touch.. and be very careful around the cracker (breaks down oil molecules if thats what they do there) and all the other cool gadgets. AND REFRAIN FROM TOUCHING BUTTONS, unless otherwise specified.

If you ever get to see controlled chemical fires... SEE THEM. I once got to see an aluminum alkyls fire. Now thats a fire and a chemical to fear

Otherwise have fun and enjoy the new job.

SAFETY FIRST----and IF YOU DON,T KNOW DON,T TOUCH---- how do i know-- i was a DEMO expert on a DEMOLITION crew..union work......taking out units in refineries....DOW-SUNCOR-IMPERIAL OIL-ESSO CHEMICAL--POLYMER(POLYSAR-LANAXX)-MONSANTO---- be very careful. and remember --SAFETY BEGINS AT HOME.. learn the rules and stay alive. ...a good way to keep informed is to become a safety officer. this will help you keep a job when layoffs happen..there is no such thing as good luck.. but RESPECT is what makes you good--- hope this all helps..---ORVIL

Thanks for the advice all, yes, I will be careful I understand what I have to lose, and how easily it is to lose it especially on the refinery

buy a really really big lunchbox :bwuhaha: :bwuhaha:

Workin on a "turn around" right now, started Friday night, so basically I am working a minimum of 17 consecutive days, 6:30p-7a. I am gonna love those 44 hrs of overtime per week.

I got there last night and they are already a day behind schedule... this may end up being a month long process. :giggedy:
