I always liked Fords

Sharp-lookin' car. I'd prefer a side-oiler, though.

I watched the drive video and the guy kept shifting and shifting ... it was almost like watching the movie "Vanishing Point".
I've seen that movie several dozen times and never noticed excessive unnecessary shifting... not like any/all "Fast & Furry-assed" movie, anyhow. Perhaps I should watch it again.

I don't know how many HP you get out of a Coyote, but it's got one

FWIW according to motor trend: The engine produces 760 horsepower at 7,300 rpm and 625 lb-ft of torque from 3,000 rpm to redline. The rpm ceiling for this incredible piece of automotive engineering is 7,500 rpm.

I used to have a recurring dream where we were in a GA junkyard and I found one of these in GTA form, completely buried in kudzu.

weird ..i had a 66 galaxy, i thought the failane was the same car and shared parts.....that looks a whole lot more like a 65 than a 66

cool swap anyway
and honestly the fords arnt built any worse underneeth than any of the gm stuff...the only definy difference undernetthe mopar made was going T-bar

A Galaxy is bigger - like the difference between a b-body and a c-body.

All mopar front-end parts are bigger than any Ford front-end parts. It might not make them better because there's a lot to be said for removing unneeded weight. But it's something I noticed right off the bat over half my life ago and it's stuck with me.

As an ex-alignment guy, I do prefer the GM shim-based system over either Mopar or Ford.

I looked at a 66 with a 390/4spd in it after my 66 Falcon got hit...but think the guy was asking a bit more than my budget could handle.
