Just a thought, but you may want to reinforce the firewall,??

dunno, wil see what kind of force i gotta use to engage the clutch and if the firewall moves i will take a metal plate and will make the firewall stronger, hope i can see that tomorrow when i fabricate the rest

think i would reinforce it as well

every time i try to think everything goes wrong so i will see how it works, reinforcing is no problem though but if it's not nesessary (sp?) i won't do it, otherwise i will do it [smilie=w:

i can always ad reinforcement later that's no problem, and the master is mounted at more then 45* down so that wil put less force in the firewall, the brakemaster is mounted at 90* so the firewall will bulge easyer there.

if the firewall moves just a little i will put a thick plate behind it to spread the load, as i said it can be done easely later [smilie=w:

When ford first came out with the juice clutch setup on the diesel pickups they didnt reinforce the firewall and it was a big mistake. There was a TSB out within monthes and the next model year they were doubled up. [smilie=e:

Golly 383...perhaps you should reinforce the firewall. [smilie=a:

I'm suprised no one has suggested firewall reinforcement... [smilie=e:
