Those arnt a half bad little car really, I sold a 84 4 dr last fall with the 2.6 carburated MCA jet motor. They just love it- theres a pic of it on my garage. I recently got in a couple 90s coupes that I hope to be able to combine for another selling item. The turbo models are prone to stretching headbolts and earting trannies but are fun to drive. Welcome to the nut hut.:giggedy:

Welcome! Nothing says fun like a turbo! and a convertible to boot! Cool! :)
Enjoy....lottsa small motored guys here. :D

Doesn't Jon Voight spell his name with an H? Sometimes I spell my name with a G. LOL I love Sienfeld

;)

Glad someone understood what the heck I was talking about. :D

i've heard that Seinfeld quote quite a bit from the truck club i belong to. i'm not a fan of the show, so the quote is lost on me. i have found out that it was in season 6 episode 90. so far it's a fun little car. i bought it because my 2000 F150 has a cracked head & i can't afford to fix it right now. i did take the lebaron to a car show on sunday & got a class award for 80s car. ;)

Hey! Nothing wrong with that. Cars should be fun...thats the bottom line, IMO.

that lil turbo CAN and will scream with very few $$$ put into it..and the bottom end is rock solid to start with..but i will warn you ahead of time get some diff savers ASAP(6$ part)..turbo fwd's love to toss the diff thru the case

i spend a lot of time on allpar talking with other k car folks, so i'm finding all this stuff out pretty quickly.

So whats up with the truck? Water in the oil? Steam out the exhaust? Theres some neat sealer available, steelseal.com is where you can check it out. Spendy but worth a try- its worked on everything Ive dumped it in so far.

i've run several things through the engine, ended up killing my heater core in the process. i'm just gonna get it fixed correctly this time, then sell it to get out from under the monthly payment.

Not a problem - just go to the grocery store and get a can of draino. Unhook your heater hoses and put a funnel on the upper one and pour some in there with some luke warm water and then charge it with some compressed air. Dont get too wild with the air pressure otherwise it could blow it up but once it clears enough to flow- it will clean out enough to make heat again.
