My Dart (Mopey, ex-XLR8's Dart) got a stroked lowdeck, 383ci to 449ci, Eddy heads, a happy cam in it and a 900cfm doublepumper on top of it, makes 550hp (on the dyno) and behind the engine it has a 727tf and 3.23 gears in axle.

Today was a sunny day so i jumped of the girly and took the Dart for a ride, at exactly 80 miles she took 6.9 gallon feul.

that is 11.6 miles a gallon!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My brothers Duster with a 318 and 2.7 gears needs more gas than my bigblock with twice the power he got!!!!!

With all that power moving a light A-body the engine is hardly breaking a sweat so it uses less fuel to get the job done for normal cruising.
