Another snowmageddon here.

We actually broke a 29 year old city record here in St Catharines today and its still snowing.

I've been out twice today.
The side streets suck. I got stuck at the base of our driveway twice, but a little reverse, drive, reverse, drive, reverse, drive and I was on my way.

The main roads have been plowed but they are covered over again. It's sloppy but navigable. Still, there are some real stupid douchebags out there following too close, driving too fast, creating their own lanes when there clearly is not enough room.

It might be interesting later on when I have to pick up my daughter at work.
Hopefully the plow truck will have cleared out our driveway by then, but our street will still suck.

A few people have collapsed while shovelling here.

I know we don't have it nearly as bad as anybody else in the world, but I just picked up a 318 this morning and just barely made it back before they locked down the pass. Car slid off the highway into the embankment on one side of me and another almost whacked the rail on the other side of me. *whistle whistle* barely made it!

I don't know how (or why) y'all deal with that weather. It's a pleasant 60* out today, 81 yesterday and really mild weather next week. We may get another cold snap before early summer hits, but it'll only last a couple days at most.

I'll keep ya's in my thoughts and prayers, be safe up there.

It was pretty shitty here in Sarnia too.
Shovelled out the driveway at 11 this morning (didn't go to work)and by 2 this afternoon it was all blown back in.

Of course, the dogs wanted to go out and play. Brought the snow in with them, then wanted to go out...then wanted to come in...then wanted to go out...then wanted to come in........

Freezing rain and near freezing temps forecast for Sunday and Monday. Might have another day off.

I'll be frickin' glad when summer gets here.

Just got off the phone with a friend who lives in Ontario.

He said that since early this morning the snow has been nearly waist high and is still falling. The temperature is dropping way below zero and the north wind is increasing to near gale force.

His wife has done nothing but look through the kitchen window and just stare.

He says that if it gets much worse, he may have to let her in.

:D

The plow guy showed up with an ATV with a blade on the front.
Awesome.
I had been looking at those a couple of years ago. I wish I had room to store one.

I just opened the garage door and started up the snowblower about mid morning for the first round and again around 230 when it was starting to let up. I decided before I retired that I was going to have one
as I was getting too old to be shovelling that sh!! any more, besides my boys would never do it so I had to do it for me.

Bike...cycle? I always have a difficult time going out for a ride when it's cold out. The initial freeze is too much for my tender self!

ninja..blasting back roads right around sunset...those roads that no one is on so no one see's you blasting

holy shit that spots changed...alot of land slides i can tell...that waterfall used to be up about 20 feet

Hug Point beach about a half hour from Seaside, Oregon. Pics simply do not do the place justice! I could spend all day there and never touch the ocean!
