hi, all about me...

checking in,
saying hi,
Like the site so far, got a hello message from someone, wooo, friendly with a welcome wagon, now i'm waiting for the casserole dishes to arrive...

I'm Doug, I live in Erie, Michigan, which is jsut over the boarder into MI, from Toledo Ohio, I dont usually use capital letters, or periods, i jsut type away and hope you can understand what i'm saying.

the one word i spell wrong all the time is just, (as you can see above. but its not that i dont know how to spell it, i just type and thats how it comes out once in awhile.)

I love drag racing, it's not my main occupation but until recently i have been actively involved with racing in one way or another. worked at race tracks, crewed on a TA/D, worked as a promoter and compeition director for Chrysler Classic until the Blankenships bought it in 2005. In between all the working I've raced cars, (always mopar...)
I have 2 wallys on my shelf at home, I finished #2 in Classic points in 2002, damn redlight at Norwalk stopped me from going all the way, oh well...
I enjoy bracket racing, and plan on doing a lot more of it this season, Chrysler Classic, Norwalk maybe Milan...
I'm putting together an all Chrysler race hopefully to be held in July of 2007, (OVER $86,000 up for grabs, 3 days of racing, $10grand for PRO class, and FREE racing on Friday!!!! and free food on Friday...)

I work as an automotive inspector, (damage on new chryslers before rail road transport).

Milan is my home track, I only live a few miles from it. :) I've never raced at Norwalk but heard it is one of the best tracks, maybe I'll get a chance to go down there.

Welcome aboard!

nah it isnt so bad airgrabber on the other one, stock rr hood in the barn and one of those air grabber conversion kits on the way to look it over.
fiberglass hood coming WITHOUT that tacky ass KOS buldge or whatever it is, (no offense to those that have the cowl thing)

when you got a car that weighs 3800# and you want to push a brick through the air to low 10's, you gotta do what you gotta do with wieght.
