I really like '81-'83 Imperials, but I'm not sure of the top-chopping deal... not that I'm concerned about the quality; something just doesn't look right to me. [smilie=e: Maybe it's just because I've never seen one before.

Damned nice car, though.

Actually been considering buying an '81 that still sports its original, non-functioning EFI system. Obviously, it's a hardtop.

i think the "odd" look it has is cause that sharp rise up to trunk level from window line

That, and the cutline that comes down off the roof into the rear quarter, which is now an orphan.

Never really realized how much the roof of that particular car plays into the entire look of the car...

wow another look at ir on a dead on side shot and i see what ya mean about it being orphaned...would take ALOT of work to remove the roof "lines" from the tail of that car to make it a finished vert
