Seems pricey, but I guess of its all original paint and is ready to roll, that's worth something. I don't know what price these fetch in any condition, though.

1958 Lloyd Alexander 600 with only 20k original miles. 2 cylinder 4 stroke 24hp with 4 speed manual synchromesh column shift. Made in Germany. Completely original right down to paint and interior. Only bumpers were rechromed. Original spare with cover, tool kit, jack, and operators manual. New tires as well as front brake lines, u joints repacked and new boots installed. Rust free CA. car. Runs GREAT and will easily cruise at 60mph getting 50+mpg. Engine compartment is nice with the yellow inspection paint dots from original production. Everything works. Interior is real nice with original floor mats with Lloyd logo. Cool air cooled original wheel covers. This is a very rare collector microcar that has had a good well respected life. Definately steals the show and draws crowds wherever it goes. Clear CA. title with current registration. Paint is a little faded with a small ding on front drivers fender and below headlight. (see pictures). Has a few rattles in shift linkege. Timing chain has a little rattle which is typical but really effects nothing. Original headliner has separated. Outside mirror has a crack. None of these few faults are a big deal. Just describing everything I have experienced with this little Jewel. For being 54 years old the petina and condition is beautiful and acceptable. Would really be a shame to change anything. For more information please give a call at 714-469-5688 for a quicker response or to see in person. Must be picked up within 3 days of purchase. $500 paypal NON Refundable deposit required. Shipping and logistics are responsibility of buyer. Sold AS IS.

sad part is..i know the car and previous owner(3 flipers ago) and as i recall sold for around 5k....realy cheery sweetheart of a survivor

ill slap you soon enuf fishy!

as for the ad...they NEVER made a 24hp version..they made a 25HP but that was only in the TS....thats the 19hp version...some of the rubber parts were actualy remanufactured by the owner i knew of.......i should also note about "survivor" these cars have floor rust issues from hell...so very little of the car ahs been re-worked...i LOVE the "everything works".....umm...these cars fully loaded didnt even have a radio let alone a blower motor...the only electrical devices on that car is horn, wipers, and lights

There is one of those in Wabeno Wi. The owner of the hardware store bought it new for a delevery truck. They still use it. It's painted with True Value on the sides. If I ever drive through there again I'll grab some pics for ya 69er.

seriously stretch?!?!?!?!....you HAVE to get pic's and see if they will pop the hood for ya...these cars are honestly more rare than a hemi cuda..they arejust "unknown"

It's bneen a few years sense I have seen it but I don't think it has rear side windows. It's a panel truck.

The more I think about it the one in Wabeno might be a Crosley.

seen the panam..didnt see the other one

stretch if its a panel mini/micro car..its ultra rare as the states received almost ZERO panel sided models of any make

Well then I'll see about getting some pictures but don't hold your breath. Wabeno is about 80 miles or so from here and I would be making a special trip just for that because I don't have any other reason to go there anymore. I only know about it because my old job took me through that little town every week.

Sounds like a good excuse for a cruise in the Charger. :)

Well thats what I was thinking but 160 mile round trip to find out that it's not there is a long ride at $4.00 a gallon. Not that I don't want to do it mind you.

Up for a road trip Jass?

I'm sure we can find some kind of fun on the way. Ya know, I've been meaning to take my Dads vette for a ride.:hmmm:

Maybe.

I would suggest scheduling such a roadie, and calling ahead to find out if it will be able to photograph. That way, it's not a wasted trip.
