Help needed with starter...resto help.

Hello everyone! As you know, I was able to remove and replace my old starter ::beams with pride:: with a new one I got at Advance...

Now I'm going to send the one that was on there to get restored so I can get a little closer to perfection on the resto. BUT before I blow 200 bucks on getting that done, I have to figure out if I have the original starter motor.

Anyone know what to look for? My Runner was built in October of '68 according to the build sheet.
 
On the nosecone the will be a "clock" dial with the last 2 digits of the year in the center and a dot by corresponding "number" to indicate the month.

holy crap! 200 for a resto on your starter?? doesn't someone on here know someone who has a great alternator / starter shop? :shifty: [smilie=::
