Help me build up my 318

Anybody got any good combos for a 318 build? I want a somewhat mild engine, mid grad pump gas at the most. summit has a rebuild kit with the 9.1:1 pistons which im looking at. I have got ahold of a street dominator intake and a 650 holley carb, also a set of hooker headers. a 904 is going behind it. Lets here your ideas.

going into a 3600? pound dodge 4 door coronet.

the school needed a project engine, I provided. i just happen to have what its going into when its done though.
 
Did you see the 318 build in the September issue of MOPAR Muscle mag?

"Pump Gas Street-318: Quick and Easy 400HP"

All parts book bolt-ons - no custom tricks, massaging, or porting.

At the end they added NOS and got to 500hp with "self-imposed redline of 6,400 RPM."

hp was 509 at 6000 rpm with the NOS. torque was 446 at that same point.
max torque was 494 at 5000 rpm.

I have not seen that one. Nobody in town carries the mag. THink i could conn you into making a list of stuff they did to get there? i kinda doubt they would still be on the shelves.
 
i have the magazine stuffed somewhere too ....*scratching head on which house its in* i think my dad has it now
