Thanks man.

Mine is an auto-on-the-column with a bench seat. I was hoping to convert it to buckets and 4spd since it's not #'s matching but the cost has "agitated" my wife to say the least. So I'm looking to leave it as is. It's got power stearing, front disc power brake and a bunch of other junk.

I'd be interested to see picks of yours and pick your brain.

Mine's a 4 speed - but it was originally a 3 speed stick bench seat 340 car. I am busy agonising as to whether I should keep the buckets that are in it, or put a bench back in......

The car is in pieces right now, but here's some pics from before I pulled it apart that are posted on a friend's site: http://moparman.demoni.ca/?section=ffrides

I am currently in the process of collecting parts for it, mostly with the help of the good people on this board.

woops

I meant to do a reply not a new topic.

Let me know what parts you need. I have a 75 DS /6 that I don't need many parts off of. I bought it mostly for the A/C parts since my 73 came with A/C. It has a bench seat also.

I forgot to mention that my 73 still has the factory snorkel hood scoop and it's original taitan gold and tan paint/strip kit - it's way ugly I might add.

Is your paint/strip kit the original look? I have yet to find a 73 with my stripe kit. I have a feeling most people didn't like it so either didn't buy it or changed it during a resto at some time.

The stripe on my car is for a Duster & is not correct. The Dart Sport came with two different stripe options - the "over the roof, Starsky & Hutch" look, or a body length beltline stripe that was similar to the one on the demon. I have not yet decided whether to use the Duster stripe again, (my wife's choice) or the body length dart sport stripe, or no stripes at all....

Mine came with a fair amount of options as well - which is the primary reason I am trying to rescue it despite it's many problems. I got pretty much all the goodies 'cept the sunroof....

sunroof - ouch!

Sunroofs are a royal pain. I feel for ya there!

My stripe kit is 3 body length stripes about an inch and a half wide each with the top and bottom ones following the body lines. There's also a stripe on the hood and one between the tail lights on the rear. They are painted on and appear to be original. This car has spent it's whole life as a local car. The local mopar guys even remember when it ran the streets new with this stripe kit. According to them a hot blonde drove the car for years before it disappeared off the radar before it re-surfaced and I bought it. I sniffed the drivers seat but didn't detect the blonde. Oh well!

That blonde is probably 60 yrs. old by now.... [smilie=i:

Nope - the factory sunroof is one option my car did not come with - that & the vinyl roof, which I would rather not have anyway....

I would like to see that stripe - gotta pic??

strip pic

I've got a few pics that are rather poor quality (took outside with the sun causing major shadows).

I'll snap off some new pics from in the garage and scan them in.
