it's coming from south carolina. having problems with the titles. can't bring across the border with out a title. [smilie=s:

Any idea if SC required titles for the year that your car was built?

When I brought my Charger up from CT, I brought the bill of sale and some older documents that showed a bit of a chain of ownership. No problems at the border with that.
The key, though, was that CT did not have vehicle titles until 1981.

Something to look into. naybe?

SC had titles, and they are expensive to procure through the state, approx $250-500 depends on the circumstances,Personally,I alway's use ala. or Ga.,for paperwork,$120 to www.its-titles.com ,if you know somebody with an address in maine or NY use them, they didn't have titles either,Maine is real good, done a few there,no titles from '93 back. In fact its has an office in maine, they can put the car in their name, and sell it to you,,,,that's the best way,,,getting titles is easier nowaday's than building hemi cuda clones were in the 80's...,,,

is this a builder shell ? or a parts shell ?,if it's for parts, then just cut it in 2 or 3 pieces, with a plasma cutter,,I've done that a few times, you can get that across, cruise right past us customs and into canada,,,,(just be prepared to answer sneaky canada customs questions, act, like you own the place,,and ya' do it everyday!!) We'll send Ron down there, to flash his badge around, and help ya'!.......lol
