Hey, it's St. Paddy's Day after all, let's see all those beautiful green cars.
Here are some parts car Darts we owned....and then crushed.
This one is a two door, 318 car. It donated the V8 K-frame to my Duster, as well as the disc brakes and misc. interior trim and pieces. No title, and the quarters were absolutely wasted, though the floor pans were surprisingly solid.
4 door Dart that was owned by a woman who's son managed to throw a rod through the side of the 318. The car had just been tuned and had tons of new parts on it. I think we paid $150 for it? We pulled off the front clip and the disc brakes for our Dart, and sold off everything else we could.
'70 Dart Swinger 318, an original Sublime car, the only factory high-impact car we've owned. We paid about $200 for it off ebay. Someone had cut the front end completely off and was in the process of making it into a race car. We needed it for the rear tail light panel to convert our '76 Dart plus it came with mint doors with the vent windows, some pretty rare 4 piston disc brakes and an original A-body 8 3/4 rearend with sure-grip. The interior was loaded with parts including a big block A-body oil pan and a mint '70 grill. Score!
And last, me in my green machine running a giant green C-body. That Fury ran low 14's, very impressive for such a huge car. Look at the size difference, my A-body looks like a toy next to that thing!
Okay, those are all the green cars we've owned, lets see yours.
