Got back about 2:30 AM

68R/T

I got drunk and swallowed my teeth, now
Jr & I left home about 1:00 PM for Toledo OH to pick up my new-est wheels. After neglecting my 95 'Trepid for over 6 years, I thought it was time to enter the 21st century; ;)

I couldn't pass it up for the price.

Anybody wanna by a 'Trepid with 162k miles?

Good deal!

I want video of you on that trampoline in the background.
I know it's at the seller's house, but I know you got up on it when you were there. You did, didn't ya?

Toledo huh? You were only about 40 miles south of me.

that was a narrow escape. :toot:

Looks like a good deal, good luck with it. :)

Looks like a good deal. That's probably one THE worst descriptions I've seen on Ebay for a vehicle. What does the "little work required" consist of?

....., how did ya like it on the drive home, everything work okay?

Everything works great. After listening to the radio (cd stereo) only playing on one speaker for 150 miles I got pist & asked jr how to adjust the balance. "damned new-fangled electronics"

When you close everthing up, it's like being in a tomb.....quiet.

If you look close at the pics of the right side you'll see that it was "swiped" lightly and also needs the front fender painted. I plan on hitting the body shop for an estimate today yet.

good thinking....get all warmed up to being wormed up. Must be getting close...what are yah about 300 now? :D j/k. Please disregard and do not die.

I noticed but I wasn't sure if that was the only problem. Sounds like an easy fix though. If you wanted to get real cheap, you could go buy some colour-matched spray bombs and do it yourself.

Getting politically correct on us now? :D

If it more of a "beater" I would do it myself in some manner. But this car is new & nice enough that it deserves to be done right.;)

After using the Sebring for the past few days I've been leaning towards flipping it for a profit. I guess I've been spoiled by the "neglected" 'Trepid.
I miss the "big car" feel. The Sebring is only about 200 - 300# lighter but you can feel it. Even though the "trepid is 10 yrs older, it still rides better.:(

On the trip home, the 'trepid used exactly 1 gallon more for 300 miles.
The 2.4 in the Sebring may be similar to the 2.4 used in the SRT4's, but it lacks the acceleration that the 3.3 in the 'Trepid has. The 'Trepid 3.3 is rated at near the same HP as the 2.4., but the 4-banger is a slug.:dgt:

All-in-all, it's a nice car, but not exactly what I'm looking for.
