well the day started good...my transaxle for my gtv6(the alfa that i love to drive) finaly showed up :giggedy::giggedy::giggedy::giggedy::giggedy::giggedy:

opened it up to find this!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

sooooo thankfull the guy who sold it to me insured it......anyone delt with ups and claiming on the insurance???....i wouldnt worry about it too much except that it IS pretty much what holds the damn transaxle in its the MAIN MOUNT!!!!!...sure i can probably have the aluminum welded and may for temporary...but how long would you trust something like that especialy on a long trip?

anyway heres a shot of it and a shot of the milly so you guys can see how much load is actualy on that "eye loop" ..brakes, axles, e-brake, and the 130lbs of the unit itself as well as clutch forces

being pissed off i went out to the shop and trimmed some milly fat(see lloyd progress)

now i did run out side to HUGE crash bang..only to find the ups guy rolling down the driveway with the transaxle on a dolley.....my guess is that it was the ups IDIOT droping the transaxle off of his truck with a good push.....mind you this this is crated to hell so only a large fall could have done it
