This morning 383duster called me and asked me if
i wanna go with him and 66sportfury to pick up Mopey.

So i did, man she's a real looker what a gorgeous car!
so we unloaded her there where some parts aboard
we took all the stuff to the van and loaded her up the trailer
off we went ...like the brady bunch!

Well after that, we picked up Dusters piston rings at
the partshop nearby me, and then they dropped me off
at my house, i jumped out of the van and said bye!
but the forker didnt leave...?

he said you forget something...
me-Huh!?

he tells me that the leafsprings that i took out of
mopey and put in the van, are for me!

me- get outta here!!!!!

he- yeah really the're yours!!

Man i dont know what to say, i was/am stunned!

Seems that Doc, and stretch planned this thing, Stretch build the springs mopar_brought them to the MN party/BBQ, Xl took them to his home and 383Duster
gave permission to put them in the Dart....
Sounds like a conspiracy to me huh!

Anyway, all of you guys thanks a thousand times
i'm as happy as a little kid with a new toy!!!!!!
you guys dont know what this means to me
thanks again guys all of yous!!!

Yep, there's a good bunch of people here, no doubt. I got a 8.75 pig bounced down here in kinda sorta the same way. I guess that party at Jo's house was kind of a big swap meet. :)

Tommorow buddy the tools are in the hallway already!
at Joe's...I think you got it right Bob! :D

Most of the credit goes to Stretch, who originally thought up the plan. All of us were glad to be involved in this little surprise, and I think the fact that the springs got there the way they did (and that it all worked out) speaks volumes about this place in general... thanks to Mopar_Man, XL, and 383duster for making the logistical nightmare work like a Swiss watch. They still even look pretty!

It was a team effort made for one of the most valued members of this board. Here's to you, Viking... may your new boingers give you many years of trouble-free service. You may have a little more trouble doing humongous burnouts with working springs... :D

... oh--and if they break, it's Stretch's fault. [smilie=e:

Thanks Doc, I'm very greatfull for this gift and
happy to be a part of this group of fantastic people !!!

That's great Vik, now if the rest of the human race could treat people like that, the world would be a better place!

Thanks to Stretch for making them much larger than they already were with all his carpet foam so that it made it even more trickey to pack into the already-full car :D Just kidding. Hell of a good thing you did guys.
