THE TRADITION OF JEEP® JAMBOREE USA Jeep Jamboree USA has been guiding off-road trail rides for well over half a century. The long tradition dates back to 1953, when founder and off-road legend Mark A. Smith organized the first voyage across the Sierra Nevada Mountains by way of California’s near-mythical Rubicon Trail. Smith went on to lead the Expedicion de las Americas — a 20,000-mile odyssey from the bottom of South America to the top of North America — in 1978-79, crossing the infamous Darien Gap.
