Fun night goes south

Stretch

Hey! There’s no easy button for a body like this!
Chrissie and I havent had much time to ourselves sence Brian was born. Chrissie has been stuck with the kids for the last six weeeks not getting out much. Brian has a little colic so we don't get much sleep. I made aragements to suprise my wife with a night out. My mom agreed to come down to the house and watch Carlee and Brian. We went out to dinner and a movie and then stoped at one of the local taverns on our way home. We had a real good time untill we got home.

My mom told us as we walked in that after dinner Carlee said she wasn't feeling good. About that time I heared her crying in bed and calling for me. I went up to her room just intime to see her vomit as she was getting out of bed. She vommited all across her room and down the stairs to the bathroom. We spent the rest of the night cleaning up, holding hair, comforting Carlee and Brian (colic sucks) and not sleeping.

How was your night?:D

Wow man that sucks, being the oldest of 8 I know all about not sleeping and taking care of sick little ones.:(

I hope they get better soon. :)

That sucks.

Last night was date night for us too.
It went better than that. :D

I did yell at my wife for her driving though. I had an after dinner drink. So she drove home.
While we were in the restaurant the roads went from none dry to covered and frozen to nice shiny sheet of ice.
We were approaching a light and it turned yellow. There was no way she would be able to stop and no one would expect her to try.
That was fine.
But she gunned it to make sure that no one thought she was going to try and stop. :O
The car did nothing in terms of any change in its motion.
The engine did make some noise though. :D

I do know that the tires are still in pretty good shape.

It's all good. I feel bad for my Lil Punkin but she is feeling better today. I also feel bad for my Mom. Now she sees why we are so tired all the time.:D

She said, "He really does have some lungs." "does he cry like this all night?!!" My answer... "Pretty much!"

Man that really sucks. Glad Carlee is feeling a little better though.

I can relate my little one, that is 5 months now, is getting over an ear infection and she kept us up for the better part of a week now. My oldest had colic, it was pretty bad for the first few months and then it seemed to just fade away.

Hope it gets better for you both soon Stretch!

I'm glad she's feeling better, man. Any chance at naps today, since Brian's quiet during daylight hours? He scarcely made a peep when I was there, and yet I've heard him in the background on the phone at night. The little man does indeed have some pipes.

He is better in the daytime. I have no time to sleep during the day. Way to much to do with Sparky almost done.:D

I remember many a nights like that. There's nothing that makes a parent feel more helpless. :(

One consolation...as they fight thru it, their bodies grow stronger. They develope an immunity and resistance to future germs & diseases.

I feel for ya. The most horrible night of my life was when Piggy was in New York City for work and ALL FOUR of the kids had the stomach flu. I was alone, cleaning up barf for hours. Then I got sick too. And I still had to clean up barf.

I try to repress the memory. I would rather go through unmedicated childbirth than that night again.

T-Ex and I got really lucky. Laney was a quiet kid; I actually had to put a bigger amplifier chip in the baby monitor so we could hear her tiny little cry. It wasn't much louder than cooing, if at all. She started sleeping through the night in less than two weeks.

Carlee was super simple too. She was sleeping through the night at about two weeks aswell.

Poor thing. She still isn't feeling to good. Sleep, puke, run around, cry, repeat!:doubt:

Dude, I'm hatin' it for all of you. She's such a cheery, bubbly kid all the time. It sucks to know she's suffering.

Man been there...and it sucks. We had our two 17 months apart...(Now 11 and 9)...and for the 6 months after the second was born it was all a fog. Glad we took lots of pics though because we look back now and wonder who those zombies are who were hovering over our kids.

It's monday and shes still sick. She woke me up this morning and said she still didn't feel good. She was heavin when I left for work. Poor thing!

She started feeling better yesterday. Chrissie said she started eating like a horse around noon. That little girl ate a can and a half of soup for lunch! Guess she was hungry.:D
