Today, FCA US released sales figures for December and the full year. As expected, Jeep set an all-time US sales record,with several cars beating all-of-Jeeprecords for someyears, and overall sales were higher for the year.
The February boost was more than some may haveexpected, givenprice and incentive wars among some competitors. Annual sales were a full 7% up over 2015, the sixth consecutive year of sales growth for FCA, which had been spiraling downwardswhen owned by Daimler.
Jeep sales rose by 42% for December, with Cherokee, Compass, and Renegade all posting their best monthly sales ever, and Patriot and Wrangler hitting their best Decembers. (...) →
