Foggy

Sorry. No clips. Cam batteries went flat.
Thurs. I jetted down to #75's from #76's. Mistake. Weather cooled off. Still. We dropped the ET to 11.717@ 117 mph. Still had the drag radials and they were slipping. The 60's still dropped to 1.76. This thing still bogs at the line after the enitial grunt. Demon says I may need a larger squirter. Don't we all.:shifty: I may invest in a bigger holley. 90% of the race world can't be wrong. Right? Like my son said........." Why drink RC cola, when we could be having a Coke." :D

What was the 60 ft time before the suspension overhaul? How much air pressure are you running in those drag radials?

20 psi Beep.
By the way, the kid did win the quick 8,, and wouldn't you know it, he ran against the same big block Chevelle and beat him by 4 th's.

still damn nice numbers! ill probably make a couple passes with the 318 again at the end of the month. or next month at the latest. get a little cooler air to let this thing breath.

cant complain too much on times, least ya didnt break anything lol

great time foggy even with those traction & bog issuse. i couldn't stand drag radials. they are good for 14 sec street cars. i tried them for 1 race & sold them. they cost me 3+ 10th sec. cant hook hard. holley 750 dp works great for me. we started winning the day we put it on. bye bye edelbrok

I think we may be on the right path now. Talking to another Demon user and he pretty much agreed with me where I was going wrong. We'll see what kind of a difference next time.[smilie=g:

I drop my M/T drag radials down to 12lbs, after the wait, the burnout, and the run they are at 15lbs back in the pits. They're also screwed to the rims.
Next time out I'm dropping them down to 10lbs hoping the will be at 12lbs at the tree.

Good choice from the Eddy... Still not quite convinced the Demon won't work. See lots of fast cars at the track using them. It is, after all, just a Holley with a tie.:D
