I think they pulled this off very well.
Sure, almost everything is a link to sell something, but I think that's the beauty of it. How many times have you read an article and then went searching for a place to buy an item featured in that article.
Even if you don't buy from the linked store, you still get lots of information about the item that you can use to continue on your search - they kinda do a bit of the research for you.
One thing I found odd: while flipping through the pages - quickly - a video or audio of the HorsepowerTV guys started and kept playing even as I got to the end of the mag. I think it should stop if you flip to the next page.
I like that you can download the whole thing as a pdf. If you have an eBook reader you can take the mag with you..
You may or may not like the content. I'll leave that all up to you to decide for yourself. Personally, I skimmed the entire thing. I was more interested in the execution of the publication method. Although, I found the Viper-powered Maverick a little interesting.
