frame twist ?

I have these two cracks :( , both at the aft door jams. I installed subframe connectors, welded type.
I didnt think I had that much power or hook-up to subject the body to this. I expect twist .
What would be the next move. Cage or torque boxes?

You know, sometimes I think those crack from slamming the door too much. More structual integrity is always a good thing but you might just need to repair the cracks is all.

What's the car? I've seen a lot of 68-70 B bodies crack the quarters where the panel turns into the door jamb. Torque boxes work nice, but with the subframe connectors, a cage would make it nice and rigid.

To me that almost looks like some previous repairs gone bad.

Got any better pics showing where on the car and a bigger area?

Im hoping that a good strong weld with a wirefeed will cure mine, every one Ive ever owned did that with the exception of some that had tip out rears - which I have now.:helpme:

i think just fix the cracks. i don't have a roll cage, but do have frame connectors. i think i hammer my car down the 1/8th mile on a regular basis more than anyone on this board with 1.59 60 footers. no cracks on my e body
